Inspired by obi (the wide, heavily woven silk ‘sash’ traditionally worn around the middle of a kimono), this sash belt is a modern twist that can brighten the very dullest of wardrobes. Made from vintage kimono silk or part silk and lined with contemporary dupion silk, the sash belt creates style wherever it goes. The designs and colours used in the fabrics are almost limitless – we are always receiving beautiful vintage kimono. No two belts are ever exactly the same.

Tips for wearing: This is an accessory that transcends time and season – wear it over a little black dress in summer or black trou and a turtleneck in the dead of winter. For those wanting to show off their waist, position the belt high and tight with the sash tucked in at the back; to create a more casual and contemporary look, buckle the belt on one hip, with the sash hanging down the side of the leg.
