Woodblock Print - Toshusai Sharaku

This print has been worked onto traditional Japanese paper called washi. It has been printed and coloured by hand. It comes encased in a heavy paper mat.

This particular print is a limited edition reproduction of a work by Toshusai Sharaku (1794) who was known for producing prints of actors and sumo wrestlers.
